Job Brief
Experience The Twin Cities is seeking fun, energetic, and outgoing people who love the Twin Cities and are excited to share the food, brewery, and craft cocktails scene, as well as the many amazing landmarks and natural wonders that Minneapolis-St Paul offers visitors and residents alike.
This person will support administration in daily office operations, ensure timely implementation of communications, provide tour support, and coordinate and support marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities / Primary Accountabilities
- Provide administrative support and exceptional customer service
- Be first point of contact for callers regarding public and private tours
- Coordinate all office activities – phone calls, texts, email, filing, printing, inventory, etc
- Provide information regarding tours, help guests book the best tour for them
- Follow up with potential guests via email and phone
- Maintain database – input inquiries, assign tasks, create notes, etc
- Tour prep / prepare and deliver tour materials to tour guides
- Bus prep / prepare bus to be tour ready
- Schedule and reconfirm tours with partners
- Assist guests with questions and problems that may arise
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during a tour
- Prepare and send thank you notes and gifts
- Create forms and documents
- Update websites
- Add and update experiences on website and in booking systems
- Coordinate and support marketing efforts
- Manage and create newsletter, marketing materials, and blog; partner in social media postings
- Follow / track organizations contacted
- Enter organizations into database
- Partner with office staff to execute marking plan
- Develop and update content on websites
- Other duties as assigned
- Research projects assigned for Saturday shifts
- Attend all required company meetings

Qualifications & Attributes
- 18 years of age or older with high school diploma or GED
- Outgoing, friendly, upbeat, and energetic personality
- Exhibits exceptional customer service skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work with diverse populations / organizations with a high degree of professionalism
- Strong attention to detail
- Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills
- Possesses excellent time management and organizational skills
- Remains calm despite changing priorities and situations
- Excellent research skills and eagerness to learn new things
- Succeeds both independently and as a team member
Technical Skills
- Windows-based applications including Outlook, Work, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Mailchimp marketing platform for newsletters
- Proficient in utilizing databases
- Ability to quickly learn new platforms and programs
Physical Demands
- Required ability to sit for up to 5 hours
- Required to climb steps / stairs
- Required to work in any kind of weather
- Occasionally may lift or carry up to 50 pounds of necessities (printer paper, water, snacks)
- Physical demands that are of a typical office assistant
Hours & Compensation
- Compensation based on qualifications
- June, July, August 2023
- Flexible schedule: every Saturday 9am-3pm (can work from home) with additional 5-10 hours per week in the office (preferably Monday and Thursday, due to office tasks)
